Eligibility
The scholarship is open to anyone who has been accepted into or currently enrolled in the UW-Madison School of Nursing. Proof of acceptance into this program will be required as part of the application process.
Scholarship Information
One scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded to the chosen applicant for the Spring 2023 semester. Applications will be accepted between June 1st and November 30th. Scholarship funds will be delivered directly to UW-Madison before the beginning of the spring semester.
Application Process
All applicants will be required to complete an application, provide evidence of your acceptance into the UW-Madison School of Nursing, and have the letter of recommendation completed and returned. The letter of recommendation is to be completed by an employer, mentor, teacher or any non-relative who has held a significant role in your life. Links for the application and letter of recommendation can be found at the bottom of this page. All required items are to be sent to Shannon.Louis.Smith@gmail.com no later than November 30th.
Once received, applications will be reviewed, and a winner will be chosen. The recipient will be notified with a phone call.
